Controlled No-Rinse Surface Sanitising

The supplied TDS and SDS document Sure Active as a colourless, water-soluble quaternary-ammonium-based sanitiser concentrate with pH 6.0–8.0, specific gravity approximately 1.0 and closed-loop dilutions of 1:25 for general surfaces and 1:16 for mop application.

Closed-Loop Dilution Guide

• General surface sanitising: 1:25 — approximately 40mL per litre of water
• Mop application: 1:16 — approximately 62.5mL per litre of water

Application Method

1. Clean the surface first and remove detergent or visible soil.
2. Select the approved closed-loop dilution.
3. For general surfaces, spray or wipe the prepared solution onto the clean hard surface.
4. For sealed floors, mop evenly using the 1:16 setting.
5. Allow the surface to air dry. No rinsing is required when the product is prepared and used as directed.

Safety and First Aid

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid eye and skin contact and avoid breathing vapour, mist or aerosols. If on skin, wash with plenty of water and soap, remove contaminated clothing and seek advice if irritation occurs. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush continuously with running water for at least 15 minutes; seek medical advice if irritation persists. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; rinse the mouth, give water and seek medical advice.

Storage and Spill Control

Store upright, sealed, cool, dry and well ventilated away from direct sunlight, heat, foodstuffs, oxidising agents and incompatible materials. The product is slippery when spilt. Clean up promptly using suitable PPE and prevent runoff into drains or waterways.

Does the surface need to be cleaned first?

Yes. Cleaning removes grease, food residue and other soil that can interfere with sanitising. Apply Sure Active only after the hard surface has been cleaned.

Does it require rinsing?

No rinsing is required when the product is correctly diluted and used according to the supplied no-rinse directions. Allow the surface to air dry.

Can it be used on food-contact surfaces?

The supplied technical data lists compatible food-contact surfaces. Use only at the documented dilution, after cleaning, and in accordance with the food business’s approved sanitation procedure.

Does it kill specific viruses or bacteria?
