The Australian Oil and Gas Convention 2023 kicked off on the Wednesday the 15th of March in Perth at the Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from around the world to discuss the latest developments and challenges facing the energy sector. Woollahra Group was thrilled to attend this exciting event and to connect with like-minded businesses, broadening our understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities. As well as increasing our range of products now offered to the sector, in turn increasing our capability.
One of the highlights of the convention was the Aboriginal Capabilities Pavilion, organised by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science, and Innovation. This pavilion provided a space to connect with 10 Indigenous businesses, showcasing their products and services to captains of the Oil & Gas industry. We encourage all attendees of the conference to visit and support these Indigenous businesses, who are making a significant contribution to the energy sector and beyond.
As a company committed to sustainable and responsible practices we were pleased to see the decarbonisation theme throughout the event. Woollahra Group also recognises the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in the energy sector. At the convention, we also had the opportunity to connect with other businesses, experts and vendors in the field, learning about the latest technologies and solutions for addressing the challenges facing the industry.
